Live Taping of the view
On October 9th, Black Women in TV & Film had the absolute honor of attending a live taping of The View! This experience was extra special for me personally because The View was my first job fresh out of college—so being back felt like a homecoming of sorts, but this time, I had some fabulous TV & Film Baes by my side.
The day kicked off with a behind-the-scenes tour before the live show, where we soaked up the energy and hustle that goes into making The View the iconic show it is. Then came the main event! We watched the dynamic conversations unfold on stage with an all-star guest lineup: Pharrell Williams, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Riley Keough.
From unforgettable star power to reconnecting with my roots in the industry, this was a day filled with gratitude and nostalgia.

Cocktails & Conversations
Thank you to the incredible TV & Film Baes for showing up and making Cocktails & Conversation so special! Your presence and energy truly made the night one to remember. 💫
A HUGE shout out to @negrilbk for the amazing partnership, yummy drinks, and delicious food. Your service was top tier, as always! Special love to Malissa, the powerhouse Black woman behind it all, who continues to champion women and support our community. Negril BK is a true gem in the heart of Brooklyn, and we couldn’t have asked for a better partner for this unforgettable event. 🖤
And of course, we have to give love to @jonbasiltequila for sponsoring the night with The Director’s Cut, our specialty cocktail that kept the vibes going all evening! 🍹🎬
